Go back a version. And good luck doing it. Took me over 3 hours to undo the
12.0.1558 package and back to 12.0.525.

In my case they have completely broken Excel. It's definitely "different" --
it doesn't work.

In fairness they now have posted a FAQ about the things we need to do in
Excel to rename the settings files to make it all work again.

Huh. Nice that they leave it to the user to discover the problem and not
offer a clean install.

I'm really ticked, as FS has caused me to lose over 3 hours of my "Job" time
using the "Job Access with Speech" software.

As to Ctrl+Alt+J not working right away, that's usual. You should reboot
first, and then make sure you don't have more than one JAWS icon on the
desktop with the same hotkey.

Enough rant for now. Got to get back to earning some money. Baby needs new
shoes.

I just installed that release candidate and have one odd behavior
to report.

Well, two.
First, my control+alt+j hotkey to start Jaws no longer works, even
though it is in the correct playce when I bring up the properties
for the desktop icon.

Second, despite having the propper config files in the right place,
Jaws will not load scripts for Yahoo Instant Messenger. This one
has me stumped.

Seriously thinking of going back a version.

Chris
