Hi Scot. Not sure if you want to do this, but I have my echo set to none in
the default settings. When the echo is set to none the shift, tab, alt, and
control keys do not speak. I know you said you have your echo set to word,
but just thought I would let you know that you can have all those keys not
talk if echo is set to none. in the default unless you only want the keys
not to talk in certain applications then of course you wouldn't press the
control, shift d.
