Jim, I've never heard of a 107 key keyboard being standard. I could be rong
though. Take a look at the paper work for your new keyboard and see if
maybe there is a switch that needs to be flipped or a driver that needs to
be changed.

Subject: Keyboard crises!

Hi Listers, I have attempted to replace my old keyboard with what I thought
to be a standard Windows107 keyboard at Comp USA. But when I got it home
and plugged it in , when I hit the delete key(NOTHING), then I tried to do
insert one for Jaws keyboard help JFW announced print view. After my initial
hysteria, I scanned the paper work that came with my old keyboard and found
I had been using a Windows 98 keyboard that by the way worked quite well
with my Win XP pro O S . My question to the list what is the current
standard keyboard that works best with Windows XP and Jaws 5.0, and am I
going to have to learn a new keyboard layout. COPIOUS THANKS upfront
THE SORCERERS APPRENTICE
