Alt + I then errow down to date and hit enter and then errow to the format you want and hit enter. I think it will keep the same format for the entire document. s -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Eileen Lafond Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 10:26 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: KeyBoard command in Word Hi, Does anyone know of a JFW keyboard command or list or something that I can quickly use to put a date into Word? I am maintaining a list of employees and I put today's date at the end of each employee as I am working with them. It would be much easier just to do a quick keyboard command than to key in the date. In Excel there is the control ; to put the date in, but I cannot find anything for Word. I am using Word 2000, Windows XP, and JFW version 7. Thanks for any help,, Eileen La Fond Phone (206) 386-0011 e.mail Eileen.LaFond@xxxxxxxxxxx -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
