Jaws11.0.1471 32 bit: Problem with status bar

Hi friends,
whenever i try to read the status bar using jaws+page down, jaws says something
else. E.g, in internet explorer8, if read the status bar, it says search...
However, the status bar is enabled from view menue, and i am not facing any
video intersept problem.
Please help.
