Hey Dave,

You're brilliant!! I did as you suggested and went to the sent
items folder and than went into the view menu. I arrowed until I got to
arranged submenu and down arrowed until I came across the current view
submenu. I right arrowed to open the submenu and down arrowed to sent to
and pressed enter. Somehow you were right I had the unread check box
checked. So now I just have the sent to checked and I'm able

To see all the messages that I wrote from today. Thank you so much for your
help. I thought that I was going crazy or something. Boy I have to be a
little more careful when I navigate through menus or when I just poke keys
because I never know what I'm going to do next. It's people like you that
really make learning the computer possible. I get discouraged easy because
I don't understand everything that is involved with using a computer. Glad
that the problem is solved.

Carmen,

Another suggestion. Hit enter on the sent items folder, then go to the view
menu and select current view. Make sure you have your current view is set
the way you would want.

Mine is set to "sent to" but you could also have it set to "messages".

The "messages" option sets them all to show you as the sender, so I use the
"sent to" choice, which shows to whom the messages were sent.

If you have "unread messages" checked, you'll probably see nothing in the
list.

Subject: Jaws10 and Outlook 2003

Hey listers,

I'm using Jaws 10 on an XP pro machine. I'm also using Outlook
2003. I was wondering when I'm in the Outlook 2003 tree view and I want to
search for a specific folder this is what happens to me How is it that I'm
unable to see all of my e-mails from my sent items folder. For example,
when I go to the tree view and use first letter navigation to get to my sent
items folder and press enter. I then tab to the list view where you would
normally see all the e-mails that you've ever written in there. You would
think that they would be there. Is there a feature that you can turn on and
off to cause something like this to happen where you can't even view the
e-mails that are in the sent items folder. In my Outlook settings I have
all the unsent e-mails that I wish to work on later go into my drafts folder
and I have checked everything else out and it seems like everything is going
to the appropriate folders except for the sent items e-mails. I don't see
anything there. When I go to the list view Jaws says "From subject receive
size: There are no items to show in this view." What does this possibly
mean? I went to the Outlook window and went to tools: options and in the
preferences dialog box, I tab to the e-mail options button. I tab to where
it said saved copies of messages in sent items folder check box is checked.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing before? This has been going
on for quite some time. Any help would be greatly appreciative.
