Jaws won't start while Lotus Sametime Connect is running

Hi all,

Since the new team for which I'm working now is using this instant
messenging app, I needed to install it on my computer also. Its About
box shows "IBM Lotus Sametime Connect 7.5.1".

The problem is that while it is running, I'm totally unable to restart
jaws in case jaws crashes.

In other words, when I attempt to start jaws while Sametime is running,
"jfw.exe" starts but never entirely loads. I only can see "jfw.exe" as
"running" in the "process" tab of the task manager but it never speaks
until I end Sametime. Then, it finishes to load.

Therefore, if jaws crashes or badly recovers from a "standby" or
"hibernate" operation while Lotus Sametime Connect is running, I need to
proceed as follows:

(1) Stop Sametime by right-clicking its icon in the system tray and its
"quit" option in the context menu, (thanks to NVDA).

(2) Restart jaws.

(3) Restart Sametime by double-clicking its icon on the desktop.

Does anyone know what this problem comes from?
BTW, I'm using jaws 10.0.1154 on an XP pro SP2 machine.
