I have this problem from time to time with both Jaws 5.10 and 6. Still no explanation yet. However, I deal with it as follows: - Wake up Jaws with Insert J, and alt tab to previous application. - Or close Jaws, and launch it again. Often this works for me, but it can be annoying.
