Same with me. It continues to display an error about not being able to install a patch.

The information was widely distributed on lists when the second public
beta came out. JAWS is running as a service when the "Start JAWS
Automatically box is checked and the system has been booted with JAWS coming
up that way. I.e., if you unload JAWS and then restart it from the desktop,
the program menu or the run dialog box, JAWS is not running as a service.

Always read the material that is sent out along with the update. In
this case, Eric stated it was very important to be sure JAWS was not
running as a service when you run automatic update. This will not be
the case in future updates.
