If she's running IE 7, then she should upgrade to jaws 7.1 this was the
official version of jaws to begin support for IE 7.

On behalf of a client, I need to understand why Jaws 7.0 is not reading out
in edit boxes in Internet Explorer 7.0? Does she need to upgrade? I have
tried reinstalling, but to no avail. Could it be the video card?
