Hi ,
You could try doing some cleaning up and defragmenting, or it could be your
Norton Virus protection. Dave

Subject: Jaws intermittently sluggish with Norton antivirus 2006
Hi All,
I installed Norton antivirus 2006 on my desktop computer Friday morning and
I've noticed an intermittent problem like several times a day, where Jaws
just gets very sluggish for a few seconds at a time, I'm not sure if it is
Jaws or if it is the whole computer though. I thought I'd post here in case
it is a Jaws problem and there is a solution, I'm running Jaws 7.0 with
Windows-XP home with ServicePack 2.
Incidentally I installed Norton 2006 on my laptop about 3 months ago and have not noticed the same behavior there.
Thanks. Troy
