Jaws find

I recently changed my internet setting so that it no longer displays graphics.
I also downloaded and installed the patch for 3.51. Whether it is a
coincidence or a result of any of these changes, I can no longer do a jaws find
on an Internet page. Also, when I entered on the ok after the message 'Search
phrase was not found' the screen does not, as it used to do, revert back to the
Internet page.
Is this the new settings, the new patch or something else?
I am using Win 98, IE6 and JFW3.51.
