oh... I don't know I don't think you'd have to arrow down. kay. when you log
on, do shift-tab to the user name box (jaws won't say it), type it in, and then
tab to the password box and type that in. then you should get in.

Even when I arrow down one line to type in my password and press enter, it
isn't always at the right spot and I have no way of knowing. I know it isn't
right because when I press enter it doesn't come on.

to the best of my knowledge you can either have JAWS on or off, but can't
have JAWS running on two accounts (in regards to the log on screen). as in, you
could have JAWS running if this other user didn't mind having it running, but
if they did you're messed. the log on screen is pretty self-explanatory
though... when you log on you're always in the username box, and then all you'd
have to do is type in your username, tab for password type it in, and then hit
enter and you should be in. if you put JAWS in your start-up when you log in it
will start up automatically. does this make sense?

      Hi, Everyone,

I am having a problem with speech on the login screen. There are 2 users
and we each have a password. I am the only one using Jaws as he turns it off
when logged on. When we go to the login screen to switch members, if I want to
get on, there is no speech whatsoever and I have no way to tell where I am.
Even when you use the keystroke to bring it back, it won't work. I have to
have someone place the cursor on my password and then type it in. Then I have
to turn Jaws on again. Is this supposed to be this way or can it be changed?

I have a Dell Demension310 and Windows XP Home Edition with Jaws 6.0.

Thank you for anything you can come up with to solve this problem.

      Katherine
