Jaws and system tray

I have noticed a problem with this for some time now. If I have any
program windows open other than the command prompt window Jaws can't seem
to access any of the items in the system tray. If command prompt or not
other program windows are open then Jaws accesses the system tray items
just fine.
Does anyone have any ideas why it is doing this? Does anyone have any
ideas on how to remedy this issue?
