Jaws and scripting a new application

Good morning listers...
Let me first say that this is indeed a broad question. I know about the
scripting manual and have read through it quickly.
I have a new development environment called progress. It is a database
and has an object pallette similar to the vb toolbox.
What I need is information on how to begin scripting this "toolbar".
I want it to work like vb does.

Any thoughts on how to begin would be greatly appreciated.
