Linda, SQL is just a database query language. How it is used depends strictly on the database product that is being accessed. Everything from Access to Oracle to Misql uses it. It is generally entered as text, but the specific database's way of allowing that entry may or may not be fully accessible. I am a bit confused by the term SQL spreadsheet you used as SQL is not a spreadsheet language, unless I've missed some new development.
The gentleman in question would need to know the product that he needs to use SQL with in order to get help or info on the Jaws compatibility with that product.
