Jaws and PDF documents

Hi List
Quite often when I want to follow a link after doing a Google search (I am
using Internet Explorer 7) a PDF document is suppose to open, but I'm
getting a strange message:
"open parent document button".
Pressing spacebar on this button, has no affect.
I am using Adobe Reader - latest version; and the latest version of Jaws.
For sighted people, the pages of the PDF document are visible.
What must I do to get to the information?
