Jaws & Windows ExplorerRose,
I think that what this person is complaining about isn't that the filenames
don't contain enough information (such as file type, file size, last date
accessed, etc.)but that Jaws isn't able to see far enough to the right of the
filename to report all the information that's there. I think this is a common
issue, unless a person has that View option set to not display any details at
all, or to display a very small selection of file details.

Again, I don't think they're saying that details aren't displayed. They're
just saying Jaws can't read all the details that are there, as if they run off
on the right side and maybe a sighted person can't see them all, either, and
wishes to somehow enlarge the window in order to make room for the entire line
of the filename to appear.

Hope that helps.

If I understand the question, press alt V for view, then d for details and
press enter.

Good afternoon

Does anybody know of a JAWS or Windows keystroke that enables the List view in
Windows Explorer to be expanded to show the full file name details?

Kind regards
        Guy
