Hi, Not discussing the merits of the new authorization, for those for whom A ccess 32 is in despensible, will the new authorization co-exist on the same hard drive with the current key enabling Access 32 so we access 32 users can still have it as asynthesizer option? The many peoplewith mild to severe hearing loss, those who are older with common onset of age-related hearing problems and those who work with numbers all day long have relied on Access 32 for years. Please don't suggest substitutes , I have tested hearing accuracy with and without Access 32. Even in my case if there had been no hearing issue, I would want full options for people who need Access 32 to use this fine screen reader anyhow. I have not yet decided whom I am writing at F S, but others who agree, might want to find appropriate means to insure the use of JAWS by all both old and young just in case age or other factors by chance might someday affect hearing et al. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Chaffin" <chaffin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, April 04, 2004 4:05 PM Subject: Jaws Info > Hi all, > I noticed on the main menu archive list, that there is an interview with Eric from Freedom Scientific. Most of the information is general, but he did mentioned a couple of items worth noting: > 1. Jaws 5.1 is scheduled to be released sometime in the second quarter of the year, which should be sometime between now and the end of June. He did not mention any details of what is to come with this version. > 2. They are hoping to release the new authorization scheme with Jaws 5.1. No details of how this new scheme will work was mentioned. > To listen to the main menu interview yourself, which I would recommend, refer to the March 24, 2004 main menu show on the archive page on acbRadio.org, or just hit enter on the link supplied below! > http://www.acbradio.org/archives/mainmenu/mm165.m3u > > -- > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
