I'm using jaws11, latest update, with Windows XP, and Internet Explorer 7. Had no problems with locking up, Mike. What browser and version of browser are you running?

Hi Gerald;
I just clicked on the link you gave for the AFP 11.1 update and after doing 
so my computer locked up.  Jaws NVDA, nor Narrator would work.  This
happened 3 times and heach time I had to do a hard reboot.  I am running
Jaws10 latest & XP Home.  Any ideas?  Thanks much.  Take care.

Don't waste your time with the inaccessible Adobe Flash Player installer.
Instead, download the latest version from the AFP web site, and the
installation should go smoothly. I just installed AFP 11.1 myself this way 
and had no problem.  The only glitch is that installing AFP this way will
also install the Google Tool Bar, which you can subsequently disable or
remove.
