Well that is a good suggestion and might give that a try; but, since only
have one Jaws or J icon on my desktop am able to start the program that way.
But, sure would be nice if the hot key would work.

I've had the problem off and on. Seems to work fine for the longest time,
but then it won't work hardly at all. What I've done is use the Run dialog
to start JAWS. Mark
