Hi here is what I am not getting. Jaws is a scriptable screen reader. It is the only full fledged windows screen reader that is. This means because it is we have the power to change thing update things etc. Lets take foo bar 2000 a media player I started to use for it enhanced play list capability. Now winamp is still the best but the foo bar play list is just neat. Any way. I tried it with jaws and it had issues. I try it with window eyes it also had issue. So I went back to jaws and am fixing the issues so the program can behave as it should. Now the jaws ui sucks but so what jaws is the only program where I can get in with a scripting langwige that has the accessibility tools in the box and fix things. So some times it does not always do what I want but jaws still has the most power. Hence the more bang for the buck. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Skarstad Sent: Saturday, March 24, 2007 4:59 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Jaws 8 a disapointment and I'm right behind Bruce. Come on, y'all, get serious here. You guys know FS doesn't pay attention to this list, so whining here won't solve anything. You wanna get FS where they live, enccourage your state to go with another developer. FS does a lot of business with government contracts, so if they start losing those, maybe they'll start paying attention. if someone gives you a crappy product and you keep right on buying it, that just tells them that they have it in the bag and don't need to keep up with the demands of the consumers.
