Hay Priti!
I have a similar problem with JAWS version 6.0 with windows XP pro hear, but
with word, and not with excel.
I don?t exactly know if it is the compatibility issue with the version of
JAWS, and the XP version, when ever I am working in word having the IE open; it
rather seems to behave like an HTML page rather than behaving like a word
document.
An other strange thing is that, the moment I try using down arrow to read
each line of the text, JAWS tends to swallow quite a lot of words, while it
reads perfectly when I use my Ins+ down arrow key
Any idea as to what could be the possible solution to this problem?
   Take care
 Bye

Hi All,

I am using Jaws 6.0, Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003. My
problem is, when I edit data of a perticular cell Jaws does not read the
data completely.

When I input text(a big chunk of text), then want to edit the same, Jaws
does not speak some of the words in the edit mode. This results in a lots of
guess work while editing a cell data. At the same time, while navigating
through different cells, entire data of the cell is being read properly by
JAWS.

What can be the reason behind the same?
I tried to use JAWS 7.0 but no luck.

Any help in this regards will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Priti
