In my humble opinion, if you are having problems reading the braille and
want to keep a permanent record of it you should contact FS, they don't
read this list any longer, or at least do not post to it, so they aren't
really hearing us complain about the terrible braille and the confusion
that has arisen from the way they put it on the CD with no number signs
or anything else. Personally, had the label been sharper, I am sure I
should have figured it out faster.

This is, in case you don't have your CD handy, or cannot activate using
the web.

Why do that when you can simply put the cd in your drive when the
activation program asks for it. It's completely automated the rest of
the way. You have to put the auth program through your firewall one
time, but outside of that, no interaction between you and the program is
necessary. Trust me, it's not that big a deal.

The information on the bottom of the JFW 6.0 CD from Freedom Scientific
is 1. Your FS ID such as your regular 5 or 4 digit code. 2. The 20
digit code I had some trouble getting JFW 6.0 to install on my first
attempt and wrote a email to Freedom Scientific Support telling them of
my problem and asking what they recommended. FS Support wrote back with
in 12 hours and told me my 20 digit code and gave a explanation of what
they recommended. I finally got my FS JFW 6.0 program CD to work, after
un installing what had happened on the first attempt, I did not even
have to put in my Authorization CD, the FS site during the installation
supplied the codes both locking and authorization plus I guess the 120
digit code needed for verification. Anyway Those are the two items on
the bottom of the paper holder for the FS CD's. It is worth while to
write FS for the 20 digit code and FS sets up up for a smoother
installation and verification! Dick
