Hi,
I'd be that the dialog that you're referring to is that obnoxious task pane.
To get rid of it, you can do a ctrl+f1, or, if that doesn't work, go to View
and arrow down to Task Pane. If it's checked, press enter and it will go
away. Then, you'll need to look around in the Options multi-page dialog,
either in the General or View tabs. There's a checkbox in there somewhere
that tells the task pane to come up automatically. Unckeck it with a
spacebar if you see it, then click OK. Hope that helps.
