Re: Jaws 6 not focusing on Word 2003 thesaurus

Ah, so this is what you call the form the Word help function is in, too? A
"task pane?" I wonder what its advantages are for a sighted user, why it's
such a nice new development. Because for me, it's not. I can barely make
sense of the Word help function, either.

I really find this development hatefully obstructive. the previous design
of the Word thesaurus (I don't know what term properly describes that kind
of window or dialogue) was just perfect for me. I used it with skill when I
could still see it, and I continued to use it as skillfully with Jaws.

I wonder: Is it possible for me to retain Word 2003 but replace the new
thesaurus with the old one? Or must I just delete Word or the entire office
2003 suite and reinstall my old copy of Word 2000? That's what I'll do, if
I have to, to get rid of this thesaurus and get something I can work with.
