Hi Allen,
Yes, 4.5 will work on Windows XP.
But, for performance, the user should update his 4.5 to 4.51, and then apply
the available patch to it.
This will allowthe user the best functionality with XP.
As far as other applications are concerned,
version 6, would be a better choice, if it is available to the user.
