do you still have your authorization floppy disk, if so, you may be able to use it to authorize jfw 2.0 by having it in the floppy drive when you execute jfw

I realise that it is possible to create images of any floppy disk - i was just asking if anyone had the auth disk for jfw 2.0 and if they would be able to create an image file of it and send it to me. Although it is illegal to do this for copyrighted/non-free software, jfw 2.0 is no longer supported and as far as i know is free software.

Unfortunately I don't have the version of jaws that you are talking about.
I have just made it clear that it is possible to create an image of the authorization disk.
Although most people would consider that as being illegal

Hi List,

I have just joined the list.

I have a question about jfw 2.0 (yes, that old program).
I have a old pc with ms-dos 6.22 and windows 3.1 on it.
When i bought jaws 4.02 in 2002, jfw 2.0 came on the cd as an extra for those using windows 3.1. Although all the disks were contained in folders on the cd, including the authorization disk 5, that folder had no trace of a licence key. I was wondering (since jaws 2.0 is now free to download from the web), if there is someone on the list who has a jaws 2.0 authorization disk somewhere lying around? If so, is it possible for you to create an image of the disk as a file?
