When key repeat is on, when you hold down a key more than half a second
the key will automatically repeat itself I believe that the default is
ten times per second.

I don't even know what it does. I think is turned off by default
(at least on my version of jaws) and unless it is completely nessesary I
don't mess around with the default to much.

Dave and others,
For me I don't think that there is a more annoying feature than
having that key repeat turned on as the default. It is a royal pain.
Does any one like or use it?

The first field in the "new" Settings Center is a search
field. Have you typed the word repeat in there and then tabbed? I would
think it would appear in that list.
Sorry I can't verify, as I've temporarily removed JAWS
12 Beta from my machine.
By the way, to anyone who has read this far, be careful
of the uninstall for JAWS 12. It's not only different, but both times
I've done it, it has crashed my computer and caused a reboot, requiring
that I restart JAWS 11 and change it to start automatically. Removal of
JAWS 12 has not been as graceful as other past versions.

I can't figure out how to turn off key repeat in
the whoop dee do that replaced configuration manager. I found it fine
after insert 6, but tabbed around the controls turning things on and off
with no success.
