Peter,
JAVA Access Bridge is not useful to you unless you need to run programs written
in Java, not to be confused with Java Script on the Web which, despite the
name, has nothing to do with the Java programming language.

I’ve never installed JAVA access bridge. Does it make a big difference? I did
look at the instructions but figured that since as far as I was aware
everything worked correctly I’d just leave it so I’d be interested to know how
useful others find it.

Subject: Java Access Bridge 2.02 and JawsRC?

  Dear Listers,
I saw the release candidate notification of Jaws stating support with Java
Access Bridge.
Further, Java update 25 is also released.
The Java release notification however does not speak of Java Access Bridge,
but when I googled, I found that Java Access Bridge 2.02 is available from
TechNetwork directory of Oracle’s website.
So now I am confused whether it is the final release, or it is the same
release which is available in early access database?
Further, do the instructions given for installation of Java Access Bridge 64
bit work with latest RC of Jaws? I red somewhere that the instructions are not
proper?
I am sure most of our experts must have tried it. So, seek for your guidance.
Early reply will be highly appreciated.
  Regards
  Amar Jain.
