First, I checked the check for updates in my JAWS build 515 and there are no
new updates available. AS an FS dealer and beta tester I can tell you that
FS will not release updates via sendspace.

Second, there was a problem with the CDs containing the SMA which causes
JAWS 9 not to install. This was discovered after a large number of SMA
shipments were sent out. FS is working to get a replacement disk out early
this week. The new disks will say replacement on them and there will be a
paper inside telling that this is a replacement for the original SMA
shipment.

Hi,
I'm highly suspicious of this so-called update for several reasons.
First, I see no mention of a build 519 at the Freedom Scientific site.
Second, it would be highly unusual for FS to distribute an update via
Sendspace.
Third, as in the case of the info being passed around regarding the SMA
shipments, FS would have made some formal announcement.
Fourth, the timing is just weird. I've never seen a patch announced over a
weekend, and a holiday weekend here in the U.S. at that.

No pun intended, but this just seems fishy to me.
Tom
