Why can't you just quite the currently running one, go start, run, and
either jaws9 or jaws10 depending on version? I *believe* if it's set to do
wo, it will still start the JFW service. I'm not sure however; I've never
actually checked.

I prefer running jaws as a service but I often need to change the version of
jaws because different versions work better with some software than others.
I thought I could just edit the path to the executible in the service And do
a restart but the service is set to read only.
Does anyone know how I can take the read only off the service? This way I
could change the path and restart the service running the version I want.
