JDM, I have also tried Windows Media Player and found the same thing - hopeless. Win Amp works very well with JAWS. The 5.0 version allows the burning of CD and MP3 formats. I also have Real One and it is not quite as JAWS friendly. Nicest thing about Win Amp is that is free.....
