You use wmp for all music and video how come I cannot use wmp to burn the
shows onto this dvd and need nero?

ok i use windows media player for all music and video.
if you are wanting to get your video files onto disk then i suggest you use
nero.
again, if you can use torrents, then this will be easy for you to find and
download.
