JFW and Plug N Play

Hello JFW Group
When using JFW and you install a plug n play device how do you get the
computer to save the new plug n play and recognize it?
I have a external DVD player that JAWS works with really well. Problem is
it is not recognizing the device on boot up, I can un plug it and re plug
then it is recognized.
I use JFW 5.00.844 and would like to fix this myself, any ideas?
