hi throwing my 2 centsin,
in current view, make sure, show all messages is check, not group by
conversation,
in sort by you have 3 choices,
from, subject, and receive
try changing to subject first,
if it doesn't change
then received
if it still doesn't change,
my other question would be??
are you running xp??
if so, you are kinda out of luck,
I understand it can be done, but have no idea how to run repair oninternet
explorer
but, if you are using m. e. or 98,
you can go into add remove and run a repair on internet explorer and that
will fix outlook express also.

I tried checking receive on my computer by pressing enter and it just won't
check. I also tried by routing the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor and hitting
the left mouse button. No go.
I just don't understand why.

What works for me is to press enter on what I do want checked. I have mine
set on recieved.

David, ascending is checked as we want it to be, but from is also checked
and we don't want OE set up that way. How do we uncheck from?

mine doesn't say checked but it works. sort ascending and descending do say
whether or not they are checked though.

I can't seem to get things to check or uncheck in the view menu in OE. I've
tried using spacebar and enter and neither works. I've always used the
enter key in menus to do this, but not in this case.
