Hi Katrina, since they are zipped files, you have to extract them first. In
the end all the extracted files should end up in your enu folder. Jaws
versiooon6 changed the location completely. I think in the jaws 6.2 there is
something called explore your enu folder or something. You can extract your
script files to a temp folder, then select all the files, copy them to your
clipboard, then when you get to your enu folder paste all the extracted
files there.

Hi All,
For the moment I have put the laptop aside, and am working on my desktop. I've installed JFW 6.2 as an upgrade to version 6.1 that I received only a couple of days ago. FYI: I am using Windows 98 SE on this desktop.
The help documentation indicates that special settings/scripts can't be
merged from my old 4.2 version, since it is too old. As a result, I've
spent hours trying to figure out how I can use the JFW scripts for
applications such as TVNow, Winamp, Ad-aware, MSN, etc. So far the help
documentation has not been helpful. I'm using files acquired from
www.JFWLite.com, which have worked great until now. I no absolutely
nothing, nor do I want to know, about compiling scripts. Unfortunately, the
majority of the help documentation speaks to those who are knowledgeable
about scripting.
I was hoping Debby would have had a helpful hint, on the JFWLite site, about
how to use the scripts, but there is nothing about versions above 6.0.
Can anybody explain in simple terms what I am to do with these zip files.
Do I put them in the shared folder under the FS directory in Program Files?
Or, do I put them in the FS settings, enu folder, which is under
applications, which is under Windows. And, do I put the zip file there, or
extract it as I always have? When I try to extract the zip file, the
various files are combined under a single folder that I have no idea where
it came from.
Oh, I am so confused! (smile) Can you help?
