Just to clarify the current status of 5.0, the current version is not a
patch. If you download 5.0, you get 5.0.812 not 5.0.621. As to the use of
the jaws cursor, I am not certain why anyone would want to use the jaws
cursor in windows explorer. I'm not saying there are not problems, but just
cannot understand wy the jaws cursor should be necessary in a native
interface such as windows explorer. Further on the topic of video and jaws
5.0.812, I have found that in many instances, setting screen resolution to
1024x768 and color depth to 32-bit cures many issues. but, you say, I
didn't have to do this with 4.51 and you will be correct, but 5.0.812 cures
some issues that were not even correctable in 4.51. I am of course mostly
speaking of windows xp here.
