JFW 4.0

Hello
My brother has an old hard disk in his new XP machine that had JFW 4.0 on
it. He is trying to install 5.0 and when the install wizard asks for an
authentication disk it asks for the one that has the serial number for 4.0,
not 5.0. He doesn't have the disk for 4.0. Can we just delete the file
containing the 4.0 authorization? And if so where is it?. BTW JFW 4.0 is not
installed at this time.
