what a bunch of garbage to fill up a inbox From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rik James Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2011 17:03 To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: JFW 12.5 and automatic update sorry. it is correct. thank you for catching me. Really. My current version of JAWS is 12 point zero point 525. When I do an About JAWS it reads it pretty quickly and I try to remember what it says. I thought I would try and paste it but I could not get the cursor to focus on the version number to paste it. So there goes my gold star for today. Thanks for the information. I guess I will wait until the update question box pops up to ask for my permission. Check your "about" box again, please. I am using JAWS version 12.5.25 on my Windows 7 Home Premium machine. It seems to work pretty well. This version is what is listed on About JAWS. Perhaps the update happened automatically? Or should I say, is this the most recent version? Thanks. Rik
