Are you sure it's not Alt+Down-Arrow instead of Control+Down-Arrow to bring up
the drop-down list?

Hi, I've just gone to change my IE search options by using CTRL E to get to
the search box and CTRL down arrow to bring up the drop down you use to select
another search engine, However the menu no longer seems to be read. Is anyone
