Ok, from what I remember from my class, you can hit the alt key, on the first selection in the home tab is view, press space. You can choose from design view and datasheet view. I was able to create tables but queries were a huge problem. The ribbon has pretty much everything you need to switch views and create tables. I could only perform queries using the jaws cursor to get to the fields. Hope this helps some..

Hi, All, I hope everyone is well. I've done some searching on the net, and read through some of the messages found on this list concerning this, but nothing seems to be jumping out at me. My basic question is this: is anyone successfully using Access 2007 with any version of JFW and getting what you need done? I don't mean putting your data in Excel and then exporting to Access--no work-around like that, because that's not going to work in my case. can any of you input your field names into Access, change the data type if necessary, and then put in your records and know which form field you're in? Can you do things like create reports, run queries, ETC in Access 2007 using any version of JFW? I'm not very knowledgeable about Access but I know a little bit. I've done some work in 2003 with an earlier version of JFW and had no problem that I remember. I am able to create my table in design view instead of data sheet view. My instructor says tis is fine with him, just so long as I get it created. I can put names for my fields, change the data type, enter a description, whatever I want to do. When I go back to input records, though, JFW doesn't tell me what field I'm in. If my first field after the primary key is last name, there's no way for me to tell that. I can read records that have been created, but once again, I can't tell what field is what. I can see: 36123, Jones, Amy, 26524, $33,000 where each entry above is a piece of data in a field. I can't see, though, that Jones corresponds with the column entitled "last name". Anyone have any solutions that have worked? All I've seen on this list is that you should put your data into Excel and then export. Insert+tab doesn't read any information to me either. Help appreciated.
