Sticky insert. It's in the user options dialogue box of Configuration Manager.

I'm missing a left hand, so I've been using this feature of JAWS for many years.
And while we're on this topic, there is a utility included in Windows, called Sticky Keys, which will hold down all modifier keys, such as Control, Alt, Windows, and Shift, so that one-handed persons can press multiple key-combinations. You can find Sticky Keys in the control panel/Accessibility section.
Alan Chris wrote: Hi, yes, this will seem a very valuable new feature, particularly at those times when JAWS went silent on us when we used the cut/copy commands. I think the keystroke's a bit awkward though, I mean, who's able to press Windows Insert X? Of course we can change that at our own will, but I suggest you practice this key combo before the public beta gets released <smiles>.
