Hi Sean,No, not at this point. There is a Freedom Scientific bullcctin that deals with it. The answer is: JAWS does not support 64-bit Windows (even Vista) under 64-bit processors (see below for exceptions). * You can in fact install 32-bit version of Windows on a x64 processor such as AMD Athlon 64 or Intel Core II Duo. Windows Vista DVD's are produced in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Retail version of Ultimate has both DVD's, but other versions only come with 32-bit DVD.
Cheers, Joseph

ps, i only tested jaws 8.0.423 under vista
32 bit version and have no idea
about running in vista 64 bit version. From: "Allan" <allanwkf@xxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2007 01:49
hi,yes, jaws8.0.423 can run in vista but you
need to set your windows to clasic
window, means you can't really use "AERO"
with Jaws
8.0.423, maybe up coming release of jaws can
support "AERO" in Vista.

Just curious one of the posters here's
mentioned running it under vista. How,
jaws doesn't yet support vista? Did I miss
something with jaws?

Hi
As it happens, I had to have my system
reformatted last month, so I am now
backto running windows media player 10. There
are supported jaws scripts for this
version built into jfw V 8.0.

On another list, there were enough folks
having difficulty with WMP11 that I
decided to stay with 10 for a while. HTH

Hi,
I'm seeking info regarding using Media
Player with JAWS 8.0. If you have
encountered any problems, I'd be grateful if
you would share the experience.
Thanks in advance for any help you might
provide.
