Hi,
Just as an aside Dan Clark helped me with my Arkinstone way back in about 1994
or so. This was before he went with what is now FS. He was one of the best tech
types I have ever met.
I as well as others were really sad to see him leave our local area.

Dave:

Dan Clark, is Sighted. Dan learned JAWS in order for him to perform the
functions of his job. Deserves enormous street credibility.

Dan is an excellent user of JAWS, because he learned how to use the program
the way we as individuals who use JAWS need to use the program. In other
words, he can use the program without having a monitor connected to the
computer.

There are a number of sighted people out there, who claim to be able to
teach a user who has no sight, to use JAWS, but they cannot use the program
without having a monitor connected to the computer. These patronizing
fakes, have no street credibility and neither should they.

An equivalent example would be, a blind person teaching a sighted person how
to drive a car.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
