Chris:
In JFW 5.0, you are right there. If you are hearing "some translation"
and so on, you are in the list for "date processing." Hit tab one more
time for "number processing."
A better way, since it takes several tabs to get there, is to go the
other direction. After hitting ENTER on "Text Processing," hit shift
plus tab five times. This will put you in a list. Use up and down
arrows to make your selection. I handle eight digit-long client file
numbers and document numbers all the time. For me "pairs" works the
best. It groups the numbers in convenient pairs, like nineteen sixty
two, instead of one nine six two. With eight digits, the difference is
remarkable.
By the way, after making your selection, tab back 3 times (not 5) to
click O.K.
Note, this is based on JFW 5.0. It may be different in 4.1.
Also, I want you to know (actually, I want David to know <SMILE>) I
practiced this before giving you the advice.
Seriously, I agree 100% with David that we all should practice the
instructions (when we can) before giving them out.
Good luck!

I can't find the option. JFW's being funky and not reading the dialog
correctly. Once I enter on text processing, how many times should I hit
tab? I saw something that said controled by JAWS or controled by
synthecizer, but I also saw something that said no translation, some
translation, most translation, etc.

I don't see anything for numbers, or digits. I know this can be done
though.

Chris.
