Hi, A new user of jaws would pay $1000 for a pro copy of jaws. Rediculus
considering the fact that there is really no difference except that you
could get a lisonce for remote access to other computers or a server. This
ofcorse brings up a question, Why not just have one lisence for all versions
of jaws and then the remote access would be there if you ever needed it any
how. Just my thoughts.

Boy you are sure full of good news. It really hurts to think that some folks
haven't upgraded since JAWS 7 and probably won't ever upgrade again without
putting a new mortgage on their home.
But seriously, since it's been so long since I actually purchased my first
copy of JAWS, what is the starting price for JAWS Pro, for a completely new
purchaser? Isn't it around the $800 mark?

upgrading JAWS 10 to JAWS 11, I am reposting the information.
Note: FS calls the two versions of JAWS, "JAWS Standard" and "JAWS Pro".
Upgrade pricing for JAWS Standard, versions 10, 9, 8, and 7, to JAWS 11
Standard.
NOTE: For those list members who are not aware, you can only purchase the
optional Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA), at the same time you purchase
the upgrade for your version of JAWS.
Version 10, cost $120.00. SMA, $120.00. Total cost for both products,
$240.00.
Version 9, cost $240.00. SMA, $120.00. Total cost for both products,
$360.00.
Version 8, cost $360.00. SMA, $120.00. Total cost for both products,
$480.00
Version 7, cost $400.00. SMA, $120.00. Total cost for both products,
$520.00
Contact FS or your local dealer, to find out, if the pricing for version 7,
will also apply to earlier versions of JAWS, that work on the Windows 32-BIT
platform.
