Hello Nancy:

Regardless as to whether you intend to use the dongle with JAWS standard or
JAWS professional, you need a licensed copy of JAWS Standard or JAWS
professional.

The Dongle costs an additional $45 US.

When you purchase the dongle, Freedom Scientific authorizes the dongle with
your license information.

However, if you have a dongle that you bought for JAWS 9 and you upgrade to
JAWS 10, apparently, you contact JAWS tech support who will in tern send you a
file that will upgrade the dongle so you can use the thumb drive version of
JAWS for JAWS 10.

I got the information from someone in their sales department, this morning.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber

  Hi Brian,

You were answering Kirstin but you helped me a lot too. Thank you for the
info about the Jaws thumb drive.

You mentioned a program for the video hooks. Can you advise on where to get
this program or what it is called?

Also, and I can get this info at FS but will ask you anyway, any idea of the
cost for purchasing the license for the thumb drive?

  Thanks.

  Nancy
