JAWS halts& pauses down arrowing after closing files

Hi,
Frank, I also un checked read path in title bar.
The main very slight improvement would be if-- one could keep
"folders" un checked under view then explorer bar then right arrow then un
check "folders".
MY "folders" stays checked no matter what I try!
If folders is checked, things happen slowly.
But un checking folders does not make the down arrowing happen as it did
prior to S P 2 and JAWS 6 in my experience.
the un checking of folders is at best a partial solution.
Let me know if you learn anything more please.
