HI,
Thanks for the suggestion of

going to Accessibility in Control Panel and unver View putting both
"blink rate" boxes to zero. However, that can affect other things.

Interestingly, the zero setting does lessen the lousy JAWS 6 pausing for
too long after closing files in Windows Explorer Such halting or pausing
stops or delays the down arrowing and costs lots of time as onewaits..

This seemsto me to be a bad combination ofJAWS 6 and Service Pack 2. I have
written
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have other JAWS versions also and think JAWS 6 is the worst in terms of
the delaying ofdown arrowing after one closes a file in Windows Explorer.

As I am concerned as to what changingt he blink rate would to do other
applications, I set it back--"Alas" and things work as slowly as ever.

Thanksand if any one has solution, let me know.

Thanks; Aaron go Bra!
